Richard Alexander

Richard Alexander is the managing partner of bio Human Capital with a well known reputation in the Life Sciences Search Profession.  Drawing on extensive expertise gained as a Chief Operating Officer and a Chief Financial Officer, Rich recruits talent capable of leading organizations in ever-evolving environments.

 

Rich serves clients in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices and consumer health. He has successfully completed leadership assigns in research and development, commercial and operations, as well as for CFO's and CIO's. He has provided career advice to many of the leaders throughout the industry.

 

During his corporate career, Rich held a variety of senior executive roles in the professional services, manufacturing, financial services and consumer products industries.  During his tenure with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, he was a Director of the Management Advisory Services Division. He joined PNC Financial Corp. as Audit Director and later became Chief Accounting Officer of Carteret Bancorp.  Rich gained operations experience as Chief Operating Officer for a division of GE Heating & Air Conditioning (now the Trane Company).  As Chief Financial Officer of Mistic Beverages, he was instrumental in preparing the company for its initial public offering.

 

Rich received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from LaSalle University.  He holds a Ph.D. from the American University of London.  Rich serves on the advisory board of Holy Redeemer Health Care Systems and on the business advisory board of LaSalle University.  He is also a member of the board of directors for Cancer Care of New Jersey, as well as on the Board of Trustees of Nazareth High School for Women, where he chairs the Finance Committee.  Rich, his wife and three daughters live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
